Discs are inside of white plain sleeves and there are additional picture sleeves with Madonna pictures and songs credits. Manufactured in the Netherlands can be found on every label - records were manufactured in Europe for US market. Numbers and symbols on run-out-grooves provide some information about mastering and pressing:

  • Side 1: 91794 1A 1-26440-A Andreas at Schnittstelle
  • Side 2: 91794 1B 1-26440-B Andreas at Schnittstelle
  • Side 3: 91794 1C 1-26440-C Andreas at Schnittstelle
  • Side 4: 91794 1D 1-26440-D Andreas at Schnittstelle

Records were mastered by Andreas Kauffelt - a mastering engineer who works for Schnittstelle company, and pressed by RECORD INDUSTRY from Haarlem in Netherlands. Matrix numbers have 5 digit codes (91794) and after them there are cut numbers and the side identifiers [1A / 1B / 1C / 1D]. Catalog number can be found as well.

We searched information about these 5 digit codes and we found out that when number 99999 was reached in 2014, they started marking records with number 10000. And this is a bit confusing for us. It would mean that Rhino/Warner planned to release re-issue of The Immaculate Collection earlier and they prepared master discs for pressing around 2013 or in the beginning of 2014. Nothing confirmed and these are only our supposition.
